Tableread

Member levels

Everyone who joins is a member. Some designations need the owner's approval, and the ones marked with a star need a Stripe-verified identity. Money paid out to a member always goes through Stripe Connect, which approves it separately. Nothing here asks who you are just to watch, read, or buy.

Sign in to raise a hand for the designations you want.

Level 1 — anyone who joins

  • Member

Anyone who joins. Sign up, pass the human check, confirm your email. Read and write reviews, read scripts, submit your own, join project pages, message members.

  • Purchaser of goods and services

Buy items and services on Tableread with a card. No identity check: the card is the card.

  • Video access

Watch videos, including subscriber-only ones with a subscription. Playback never asks who you are.

Level 2 — approved by the owner

  • Subscribed: Basic

A subscription pass granted by the owner, or the paid plan. Sell your work, give copies away, upload video, keep your profile to paid members.

  • Known to management

The owner has approved you personally. Ask for a pass with the phrase you were given.

  • Reviewer (unpaid)

Public byline, critic weight on scores, the reviewer dashboard. Apply after ten reviews or Silver tier.

Level 3 — Stripe verified

  • Subscribed: Glass*

Subscription level 2: the full Glass dashboard, the books of the platform. Comped to everyone who joins in the first year; otherwise a subscription plus a verified identity.

  • Reviewer (paid)*

Pro: a rate card, paid coverage reads. Needs Reviewer status and a Stripe-verified identity; Stripe Connect at the first payout, no exceptions.

  • Paid professional*Coming

Offer professional services through Tableread and get paid for them. Stripe-verified; Stripe Connect approves every payout.

  • Producer access*Coming

Run a production: project money, crew, call sheets. Stripe-verified; Stripe Connect approves every payout.

* Stripe-verified identity. The first 1,000 members have the check covered by Tableread; after that it is included with a paid subscription.
