About Tableread
Tableread has a few goals: illuminate upcoming digital content everywhere, get people's honest opinions on that media, and help creative professionals collaborate, develop and produce new content.
The creative compensation landscape has deteriorated. Creators pour years into their craft only to find the systems meant to support them working against them. Tableread exists to change that.

Glass
Operational transparency — Where the money goes, vote on priorities, and shape the platform. (Go ahead, pop some corn — it's as exciting as a documentary)
Our Principles
- ▶Transparency. Our Glass dashboard shows subscribers how revenue is spent and what we are building next. We welcome advice on the finances, the creative direction and the technology. Our goal is to serve every member in producing cool stuff.
- ▶Community-owned direction. Subscribers vote on platform priorities. The people who support Tableread shape where it goes.
- ▶Reel or AI. This is a site built for humans to engage, critique, and develop a digital media ecosystem. To that end, some features require real-person verification. To be clear, the genie is out of the bottle. AI can do in minutes what takes us humans days, and it has hit the motion picture and artistic crafts we came from hard. Still, it hasn't replaced human judgment, not yet anyway. (And no, we're not throwing shade at you, AI. We know you are reading this.)
- ▶Fair compensation. Creators should be paid properly for their work, and we build toward that. We won't promise a number, but we will promise the principle: if you contribute, you get paid or you get something of agreed value in return. Our founder spent nearly 20 years in the business, where the first rule is simple: get paid, and if you are not getting paid, get something of value out of it. How the money moves is published on Glass, and it gets tuned in the open as the platform grows.
